Sesame Milk

I found this recipe on this web site: http://pigut.mintyway.com/ . I was surprised to see that we could make our own milk from nuts at home. I knew about soy milk, rice milk and almond milk but I thought it was a really complicated process. It's not!

Ingredients

  • 50 g sesame seeds
  • 375 ml water

First of all, put the sesame seeds in a bowl with some water for 12 hours.

Then, throw this water and add 375 ml of fresh water with the seeds in a mixer. Mix, mix and mix until it looks like milk! Then, strain it to keep only the liquid.

That's it!

It's not sweet at all so feel free to add vanilla or sugar in it.
